MINISTRIES

Children and Youth

Youth bring a vibrancy to our church that cannot be underestimated. The responsibility of educating the Church of Tomorrow in the ways of God is one we take seriously. We strive to make this a place where kids feel comfortable and safe, and where they encounter a God Who will sustain them through their entire lives. Our group name is IMPACT Youth and you can locate us through the church Facebook and Instagram pages.

Ministry Outreach

Apostolic Light is thrilled to be part of the spreading revival of God’s kingdom at home and abroad. Along with offering bible studies, monthly fellowships, and outreach, our church is also involved in helping to plant more churches throughout the state of Florida.

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. We are continually praying for growth in the music department and we greatly appreciate our current volunteers!
Children’s choir is a highlight during special occasions throughout the year. We are also blessed by the annual Christmas drama put on by Next Generation Christian Academy and the Sunday School department of Apostolic Light.

Bible Quizzing

Our children’s department and IMPACT Youth are a part of a wonderful activity called Bible Quizzing. These students travel across Florida to compete with other church teams on their knowledge of scriptures. We currently have one Junior and two Intermediate teams ranging in ages from 9-17 led by Bro. and Sis. Harvey. The national Bible Quiz theme for the 2020 year is Hide and Seek for the Juniors and PURSUE for the older students. The study consists of the book of Psalms and our youth will be learning 400-500+ verses!

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We maintain an active Facebook and Instagram feed for additional church communication. We can also be reached by email at apostoliclightupc@gmail.com.

Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ concerning you”.
Prayer moves the hand of God. We know there is no limit to what God can do and believe in praying until something happens.  Prayer is how a daily walk with God is maintained.
Pre-service prayer begins Sundays at 5:30 pm and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.
